Seat 26B
San Francisco to Dubai
Now I hate flaunting that I am flying business class on one of the best airlines in the world, but here we are. I do not want to focus on this, however; I want to focus on a flight attendant I met on my first outbound flight from San Francisco to the UAE. I never really believed in love at first sight, but boy, let me tell you, was I wrong. I was minding my own business, and all of a sudden I laid eyes on one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. It wasn’t a lust-based attraction; it was actually pretty spiritual in retrospect. I felt like I knew her from a past life but was overtaken by her absolute presence.
Further, she was also taken aback by the way in which I looked at her. I peered into her soul and uncovered a solemn truth only she and I know to this day. I never caught her name, but I did see a fat diamond ring on one of her fingers, which made sure to let me know she was accounted for.
Looking back, I should have at least introduced myself, but I had a lot going on and a long 16-hour journey ahead. She did serve me a towel and food, and then I will always remember me offboarding the aircraft. The look she gave me was priceless (laughs).
I often think of her sometimes. It has been 10 years, surely, but alas, here we are.
I am rarely surprised, but this was one of the moments the universe, God, or whoever thought it would be funny to put an Easter egg on my life’s journey.
Later,
Peas
PS. My dear Emirati queen I will eventually find you with my “otherworldly” resources lmao
